STOKE

Alison and Martin have been married since 1976 and have 2 adult sons.

They moved to Stoke in August 2007 with a clear call from God to establish a new work in Stoke and CGC Stoke was born. They began by praying and networking across the city and were soon joined by a group of people who started meeting together on Sundays in January 2008.

Prior to coming to Stoke Alison and Martin were part of CGC Chelmsford where they were members of the Senior Leadership team and worked fulltime as administrators for the local church and the CGi group of churches.

Over the years they have worshipped in a variety of churches and held leadership positions in many areas of church life. They are passionate about Church being at the heart of the community, serving people at their point of need and demonstrating the love and compassion of Jesus: “it’s about more than just what we do on a Sunday, it’s about the way we live.”
